I know, I know!  It’s only November…but I don’t care!  I am one of those people who is already listening to Christmas music and watching Christmas movies on the Hallmark Channel (as I type).  So with that said here is my first Christmas themed post!!

My husband’s aunt and uncle were kind enough to get a “Elf on the Shelf” for my daughter last year.   She named her Katerina (after Katerina Kittycat on Daniel Tiger).  My husband and I hopped on Pinterest and gathered up ideas of different things to do with Katerina and different places to hid her (I think we were more excited than my daughter!)  We all had a lot of fun! My favorite was when Katerina showed up in the morning with cookies that she had baked and decorated!

We will definitely be doing all these fun things again!  And “Katerina”  is going to be baking away the 1st week in December for any other Elves on the Shelf that want to buy some mini cookies and an icing bag 😉

In addition to the traditional Elf on the Shelf antics, I have decided to add another element this year.  I saw an idea from theimaginationtree.com to have the elf ask the kids to do something kind each day.   I compiled a list of random acts of kindness that I plan to use, click here> Acts-of-Kindness.  I would love for you to join us!

Please comment below if you have ideas to add to the list 😉   And send me a message via the Contact Me page if your elf needs cookies;-) (remember I don’t ship!)
